Most recently, I collaborated with the artist Emma Bäcklund on subtitles for her video “On the Tongue of Some Animal,” shot with a surgical camera. The video is part of Emma’s project “Belly of the Beast II,” which is currently on view as part of the group show “Sculptural Landscapes,” curated by Trine Stephensen, at Galleri Format in Malmö, SE.

My essay “Shifts in Accent” was published in March 2020 in the Brixton Review of Books (print-only).

Winter Strangers, my brief collection of short fiction, was published by MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE in 2019.

In December 2020, I wrote a very brief piece titled “Flocks” for a collaborative project between the Journal of Visual Culture and the Harun Farocki Institut.

“Certain Warning Cases,” my essay about the ongoing project Latent Commons by the artist Sam Williams, was published by Siobhan Davies Dance in September 2019, on the occasion of Sam’s exhibition there. Here’s my text “Light casts“. It accompanied Alida Kuzemczak-Sayer’s exhibition Lucent Property at Anteros Arts Foundation, Norwich, U.K., 2019.

In 2018, I participated in the online writing project If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to Instagram it, does it still happen?, organized by the curatorial collective IKO in collaboration with the platform IsThisIt? I wrote “Eye Contact, or, Two Visions, Split” in 2016 to accompany the artist Nicole Vinokur’s Paridayda and Only Thievery Gets Us Here
